Please explain how to resolve the situation when my opponent's attacking character ends up with 0 or less BP due to this [When Blocking] ability.
After resolving this [When Blocking] ability, your opponent's character with 0 or less BP is sidelined. The attack ends without a battle occurring since the attacking character is no longer on the field, and this character is now resting since it was switched to resting when it blocked.

If a character with the ability "This character must block your opponent's attacks if able" is on my front line, how do I resolve the situation when my opponent's character attacks?
If the character with "This character must block your opponent's attacks if able" is able to block, block with it.
If multiple characters with that ability are present, the player blocking chooses one from among them to block with.
